The Last Few Months...

2:00 PM

While working on the relaunch for the past few months, many, maaaaaany things happened! :)

Thank you for all of the love and support! Shout-out to Brittney, Mariam, & Nehha right there haha ;P

I applied to and received several acceptances for grad school! I will be starting my Master's Degree in Biomedical Sciences VERY soon and have been running around completing all of the necessary paperwork before matriculating. I'll be moving across the country (YAY!), so I've been setting everything up for the move. Found an awesome roommate, found an awesome place in Philly, and I am very proud to say that I will be attending Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM)--a prestigious and historical place for learning and growth in the medical field ever since 1899! :D

Being accepted into grad school means that I can TRULY share this experience with you!
Now that the process is over, I can write about the journey with a little more clarity...and hopefully help others looking to go in this direction as well! I'm excited to be able to genuinely talk about the path and what grad school will be like from an MBS (Master in Biomedical Sciences) perspective...you can bet your sweets that I'll be posting often about what's going on with this! ;D

Ryan (my Betrothed) has already left for Minnesota back in June after the Obama Graduation Ceremony at UCI. He received his Master's Degree in Physics & Astronomy from UCI and will be continuing his Ph.D. in Astrophysics at Minnesota. I'm so very proud of him.
Ah, taken just outside of The Science Library (now Ayala Science Library) haha

I realize that this may be the first time I've ever mentioned Ryan in any blog post, but that's because I didn't want to jinx anything before. I guess you could say we're doing long distance, but my mind doesn't even register it as that bc we're both so supportive of each other in pursuing the best opportunities for each of us. More on that another time! ;)

Sneak peek of my store :)

Setting up an online store the right way takes a lot of care and time, but if I'm going to do it, I want to do it right. The store will help pay for student loans so that our economy can be better and will allow me to attend Med School and specialize where my heart is at (Family Doctor), because the store will allow me to offset costs of getting this education so that I won't have as much pressure to instead pursue a field that would "pay more" in order to pay off those loans ASAP. ::breath::

So get excited for the store! I'm just overjoyed to have an outlet to share my past life in fashion and styling with everyone, and I hope you'll like it! :)

Now, I prepare for my sister's wedding next week! Eeeeee so exciting and so close! It's going to be such a beautiful day! <3

More to come!

xx
